About Peter Allison
Peter Allison first joined Wilderness Safaris in 1996, guiding at the world famous Mombo camp for many years before moving into lodge management and eventually guide training.
He also spent time guiding in the remote north west of Namibia at Skeleton Coast Camp and the remote and magnificent Sera Cafema.
He has written two books based on his experiences working in the African bush – “Whatever You Do, Don’t Run” (A New York Time Notable Book of the Year 2007) and “Don’t Look behind You”. He has also published stories of his travels and misadventures in South America under the title “How to Walk a Puma” (an Audubon Society notable book of 2012).
Peter brims with passion for wilderness areas and the animals within them, and is always eager to share his knowledge of Wilderness Safaris properties.
